7 Punished by Spanish Government for Racist Insults against Real Madrid-Vinicius Jr

Seven people involved in separate racist attacks on Real Madrid legend Vinicius Jr have been disciplined by Spain's National Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, the country's Sports Commission said on Monday. Four men were fined £60,000 (£51,700) (£152 million) and banned from sports venues for two years after hanging a banner with the inscription "Madrid hates Real" and a black sculpture in the form of Vinicius' shirt on a bridge near the Real premises ahead of the team's Cup match against Atletico Madrid on January 26.
The other three men were fined €5,000 (£4,300) (£12,671,276 million) and banned from venues for a year after making racist gestures at the Brazil international during a LaLiga match at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia on May 21. It came 11 days after the arrest of the four men on suspicion of hanging the statue and released on bail by a Madrid court. Vinicius Jr has been the subject of numerous sports news reports after weeks ago calling LaLiga and Spain racist following his abuse during Real's match against Valencia.
